Camille joined Collier Walsh Nakazawa after completing her LL.M. at Berkeley Law. She holds an LLB and a Maitrise in International Law stemming from her undergraduate legal studies in England and France. She then pursued an LL.M. in Maritime Law at the University of Oslo, where she researched the nexus between Arctic and international environmental law and vessel-source pollution under the sponsorship of the Fridtjof Nansen Institute. She then completed her LL.M. in Environmental Law at U.C. Berkeley in California, where she specialized in both CA and US environmental law and energy policies thanks to her work for the California-China Climate Institute. There, she also interned at Gibson, Robb, and Lindh, a law firm specialized in maritime insurance, subrogation, and cargo claims in the Bay Area. She is an active member of the IUCN World Commission on Environmental Law and is fluent in French, English, and Italian (proficient in German).

Thanks to her international legal background, her Singaporean upbringing, and her Scandinavian maritime experience, it is only natural that Camille joined Collier Walsh Nakazawa.

Camille's work has included:

  • Providing shipowners and charterers advice regarding maritime incidents such as cargo damage and loss, vessel damage, casualties, and worker’s compensation claims.

  • Drafting and researching marine and inland subrogation claims and giving insurance coverage advice to shipowners.
