​Collier Walsh Nakazawa Promotes Caroline Wilson to

Senior Associate

​

Collier Walsh Nakazawa LLP is pleased to announce the promotion of Caroline Wilson

to the position of Senior Associate in the Firm's Long Beach office.​

​​

Caroline joined Collier Walsh Nakazawa as a summer associate in 2019 following her first year of law school at Tulane University. Caroline was a member of the Tulane Law Review and a Senior Fellow for Legal Research and Writing taken by first year law students. Caroline took several admiralty courses at Tulane focusing on international and commercial law, international and comparative energy law, and marine pollution. Caroline's studies propelled her into a career in maritime law and prepared her to join Collier Walsh Nakazawa. ​

 

Caroline's work has included advising shipowners regarding their rights to lien cargo for unpaid freight and 

detention/demurrage charges that had accrued due to historic and unprecedented port congestion, providing shipowners and charterers advice concerning maritime incidents including cargo damage and loss, and providing legal advice regarding exposure to liability under the Oil Pollution Act of 1990, General Maritime Law, and California law relating to a recent oil spill in southern California.
