Collier Walsh Nakazawa LLP Promotes Three Attorneys

 

Long Beach, CA – January 16, 2024 – Collier Walsh Nakazawa LLP has announced the Firm has promoted three attorneys. James Brooks and Anusha Pillay have been promoted from Senior Counsel to Partner, and Zachary Farley has been promoted from Associate to Senior Counsel.

 

James Brooks joined Collier Walsh Nakazawa LLP in May 2022 in the Firm’s Long Beach office. His proactive approach to litigation allows him to advise and preemptively avoid potential legal conflict, or to resolve disputes in the early stages of the process with favorable results. When necessary, he has also successfully co-chaired several jury and bench trials to verdict in both State and Federal Court.

 

Anusha Pillay joined the Firm in August 2022 in the Seattle office. She has substantial litigation experience defending clients against putative class actions, state and federal consumer protection claims, coverage actions against and between insurers, Jones Act claims, and both prosecuting and defending against Limitation of Liability Actions in Admiralty.

 

Zachary Farley joined Collier Walsh Nakazawa LLP in May 2021 in the Firm’s Seattle office. He represents clients before state and federal courts across a wide range of matters. Zachary also handles responses to maritime incidents, including vessel damage, seaman and longshoreman claims, and cargo disputes.
